Every Woman is A Glitter

I woke up with the alarm blaring loudly near my ears. I immediately switched it off before it woke up my beloved perfect half soundly sleeping next to me. "What a blessing it is to wake up next to the man I love so much," I thought to myself. I brushed his hair and pecked a quick kiss on his lips and stood straight on my Yoga mat for a morning stretch. Mostly, thats the "only" workout I will be having for the rest of the day.

I brushed and had a quick bath before my little monster wakes up. I wore the one outfit that did not require ironing and looked at my face in the mirror. "Well its not perfect but I can always catch up combing my hair in the car and make up in the office restroom later on," a mandatory self convincing every morning.

I went to the kitchen put on my apron and lit the stove and started making some hot french toast. I swithced on the coffee maker and saw the electric bill stuck on the fridge. I forgot it again. Before i forget I better get it done. I took the bill in one hand and my handphone in the other to pay it. Bless online payments. It makes life of  a working mother, wife, lady soooo easy. As i run up the staircase to little one's room I accidentally injured my pinky toe. Forget it. No time to pamper it. I ran up and woke him up. Kissed him and had to say all the nice things that I dont even say to my husband just so he would wake up and get ready to school.

Well, I have to admit, this little monster is the nicest blessing I have. Seeing him brush and help him do it and get ready to his routine is a definite gift from god. He followed me down to the kitchen. Praise the lord. Dear husband already spread the breakfast on the table. That means one job less for me. And he volunteered to send our son to school. My god, today is one of the best days. Another discount from my daily chores. I kissed both the boys goodbye and left for work.

Yayyyyyy!!! Homeeeee..

I drove home. On the way I stopped at the wet market and got some chicken breast and asparagus. Leroy will love some roasted chicken for dinner. Little one can have some bread and mushroom soup. It was all what to cook and what to be done for the day was running in my mind.

I reached home, put the clothes for washing. Picked up little monster's toys and books up and arranged it. "i must really teach him on how to store his things properly. He needs to learn to organize things. I need to prepare him to be a good husband in the future." I went on cutting the chicken preparing the dinner and did the rest of the housework and freshened up.

Right then I heard the giggling sound of the father and son. Dearest son hugged me and showered me with kisses. He told me about how his teacher thought him about cars and lorries. I can hear him talk all day long. Such a honeybunch he is.

I think he never gets tired. He took out his toys basket and started playing. I looked at Leroy. He looked tired. I followed him to the bedroom and got him his towel and asked him to take a shower. I knew he was tired. I gave him a tight hug and said the dinner will enlighten things up for him. He grinned happily. Well it is true. A way to a man's heart is through his tummy.

We had a wonderful dinner as a family. Leroy helped me to do the dishes. He always did. I took the little one to his room to help him with his homework. He fell asleep in my lap. I carried him. Put him to the bed and went to my bedroom and saw my grown up child was fast asleep too.. face covered with his magazine. I took it away. Covered him with blanket. Went back to the kitchen, filled up bottles with water. Cleaned the living room. Arranged things for my son for the next day.

Slowly walked back to my room concerned not to wake either of them up. I snuggled next to Leroy. He hugged my waist. I fell asleep peacefully in his arms.
